there is nothing to do at shaw, you have columbia 45 mins away and florence in the other direction another 45min drive, the houses are old, the base is going threw a change knocking down old houses and building new ones so i would live off base,because housing sucks, the clinic on base is nice, you have a hospital about 20 -30 min away, schools, ya um just stay in district 2 or send them to privet school,be cause they dont care,most of the ppl are nice.you can e-mail for more info iam here until sept,
